<p><strong>What You Need<br />
</strong>1 Cup of Basmati rice or any long grain rice, washed and drained.<br />
1 Tablespoon of oil<br />
1 Stick of Cinnamon<br />
1 tablespoon of freshly grated coconut (thawed to room temp if using frozen).<br />
2 Cups of water<br />
1 tablespoon of coconut cream<br />
Salt to taste</p>
<p><strong>How to make<br />
</strong>• Heat oil on medium heat in a pan (use a pan that has well fitted lid)<br />
• Add the cinnamon stick and sauté it till it doubles in size.<br />
• Add the freshly grated coconut and sauté till slightly golden in color.<br />
• Add the rice followed by the coconut cream. Give a quick stir.<br />
• Add the water and salt.<br />
• Cover the pan with a lid and allow it to cook till the rice is soft and cooked.</p>
